I am currently working up another blanket for friends of ours. They are expecting their first baby in March. I have known the wife for, wow, a long time. She and her sister used to babysit our kids. We’ve known her for at least 15 years.
I am using the pattern from “Butterfly Garden” in Caron Simply Soft Raspberry, Bernat Satin Forest Mist Heather and Bernat Satin Silk. My plan is to cross-stitch her name in the center along with some other objects (I hope) that portray why they chose the name they did.
I’ll have to wait until I give them the blanket before I post pictures in case they are lurking.
